With tranquil surroundings and the most stunning beaches in the world, life in the Bay of Plenty comes second to none! The beauty of raw nature in the place I call home is an evident part of who I am. It seems only natural I'd end up on the journey I'm on.

As an avid body wash user since I was 10 years old - the transition back to bar soap hasn’t been easy. The shift to eliminating plastic was obvious incentive but I tried many soaps, and they weren't what I expected (but probably what I remembered). They were drying and irritating with an odd, artificial scent. I'd even tried more expensive lines as well as a few handmade. These were of course, a heap better than store brought and some smelled good enough to eat…the colours and designs were AMAZING! But not what I was looking for...I wanted the whole package.

Then, the day came when I found the perfect bar. An entire range of bars that looked and sounded perfect. 100% natural. Free from harmful chemicals, synthetic fragrances and artificial colourants - with overwhelming health benefits! Perhaps the colours weren’t as bright as artificial and they were a little rustic looking but beautiful nonetheless. And that was it (or so I thought). I added half a dozen bars to cart at $17 each, a little pricey but worth it for good skin care. I went to checkout, added all my details and just before I hit 'pay now' I realised the shipping was over $200…for soap…crazy! Of course, I was shopping in a foreign country but what a disappointment. The thought of spending over $300 on soap for a family is just unrealistic…to be honest, $17 was enough of a stretch…

So, after a prompt yet encouraging word and a lot of research, I set out on a journey to discover and develop my own - pure and natural soap.

Well, it's been a while since then but with perseverance, determination and sheer will power, I made that bar I really wanted. 100% Natural - using the best oils and the best ingredients. Gently cleansing, beautifully nourishing, moisturising, antibacterial, luxuriously creamy and most of all, embracing of all that nature has to offer! What a privilege to be able to share with others…
